To be a public servant is one of the greatest honors any person can have. A public servant must always have the best interests of the people in mind. As a public servant to Anchorage for the last 27 years, it has been a privilege and honor to serve. First as a 25 year member of law enforcement and now as a member of the Anchorage Assembly. Paul Honeman, a candidate for Mayor, is a 33-year Eastside resident with a lifetime of public service. Paul graduated from Bartlett High School and served in the U.S. Army as a Combat Engineer (4 years Active and 2 years Reserves). Paul and his wife Valerie met at Bartlett High School and will celebrate their 32nd wedding anniversary this April. They have two children, Sean and Cynthia, both graduates of Bartlett High School.
